Easy Trip Planner

With the soul goal of making planning holidays easier with my friends and family I set about making my own personal shared calendar website with plenty of useful features includes such as: polls, links, to do list, comments and dynamic locations. I created all the drawings and set up the front end, back end and the server.

Copy Cat Chrome Extension

A useful chrome extension I developed myself to help me keep track of recently copied words, downloaded images and browsing history. Feel free to add it to your chrome browser using the button below, its super handy sometimes and helps me save a bunch of time when fetching quotes for reports.

Elaine Keeps Website

Elaine is my older sister who is a freelance B2B copy writer. She asked me to make her a engaging pink theme portfolio to showcase her skills and previous works. It took a few design iterations but I really like how it turned out in the end!

HackSussex Dashboard

A interactive dashboard for the society i am in at university. It allows creation of events, adding new sponsors and committee and view statistics about the society. You can also go through feedback which is collected from the front end website. It took ages and i hope it provides some use to future members of the society.

MeanGPT

I was fed up of chat bots being so nice and saying that everything you do is a great idea, thus the creation of MeanGPT and Mr Meanie was began. This chat bot is rude, aggressive and very sarcastic. Give it a go if you dare!

Els Social Spark

This was a project done for my friends sister who is a professional photographer for weddings, maternities and much more. I love the minimal but formal design and it should help her clients get a better idea about her services and what to expect on the day. It features a gallery where she can upload new images on the site so people can view them freely, a contact form for customers and detailed list of all the services she offers.

Pointy Poker

Pointy Poker is a real-time estimation tool I built for my agile team at Hastings Direct. It helps developers, testers, and BAs quickly and collaboratively estimate feature complexity using Planning Poker. Built with Socket.IO and React, it supports role-based controls, live vote visibility, and mean calculation to streamline sprint planning.

I have gained plenty of valuable experience during my time as a Developer, these are the main experiences which have helped shape my career.

University of Sussex

September 2022 - June 2026

Student

Here I studied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. I completed course works, exams and participated in Events. I met loads of interesting people and secured a solid foundation to grow my career on.

Sainsburys

October 2022 - December 2022

Online Assistant

Here I worked over winter handling the delivery, refilling and logistics of food delivery trucks. I also worked on the store floor dealing with customers and fetching groceries for the online shop customers. It was a super stressful experience but I enjoyed meeting new people and getting the opportunity to help people out.

Year in Industry

This placement was an amazing experience in which I learnt and developed my Industry standards and discovered my passion for Website development. I did several certifications (see my linked in) and met loads of highly skilled senior developers who I became acquainted with.

Coursera Meta Advanced React

October 2024 - October 2024

Online Course

At my time at Hastings I invested sometime into getting more familiar with React by attempting this one month course learning React. It involved lots of programming challenges and a end of course test to create a portfolio! It was super worth the time and it has really helped me excel in front end development.
